Special thanks to Mike & Beth Walterscheidt and Evergreen
Christmas Tree Farm for their continued support of our youth. We
had an incredible Pumpkin Hunt and Christmas Tree Farm concession
stand this year. We made over $5000.00 from the the concession
stand. This is truly a blessing for our youth and our congregation.
The money raised from the concession stand will be used for youth
activities throughout the year. The Mountain Retreat, 2009 National
Gathering in New Orleans, LA., Relay for Life, monthly activities are
but a few activities the money will be used for during 2009. Thank
you again Mike and Beth, your generosity is truly a gift from God.
Senior High Gathering
Thank you to the congregation for sending our Senior High Youth to
the Senior High Youth Gathering in Corpus Christi, Texas. Special
thanks go out to Diana Staton and Randy Wenzel for serving as
sponsors for the gathering.
Christmas Party
Thank you to the Chasteen's and Rother's for hosting the Middle
School and High School Youth for the annual Christmas Party. We
had a great time and a lot of great food. We also had a good time with
the gag gift exchange.
THANK YOU TO THE CONGREGATION
Thank you SO much for your continued support of our youth. We are
an active group and appreciate all you do for us. From the Senior
High and Middle School Gatherings, Mountain Retreat, Mission Trip,
Christmas Tree Farm, aluminum cans and pull tabs, the support we
receive from the various fundraisers and all our other activities, we
are truly blessed and fortunate with a congregation that supports our
youth in a big way. You as a congregation are leaving
impressionable "Footprints" on their lives and hopefully they will
pass on what they have learned to others. One never knows when a
footprint will be made so thank you again for leaving such positive
footprints on our youth's lives. Thanks again and with that we would
like to wish the congregation a very happy and prosperous 2009.
