Comparing the Gospels Starting in May, the Adult 2 Sunday School class will start a study on the Gospels. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are the synoptic gospels, meaning they have a common view. John differs in theme, content, time and duration, order of events and style. Given there are four different & differing Gospels, how should they be interpreted? By using only one of the Gospels? By combining the four into one? Come learn how the four Gospels have four different narratives that tell, in different ways, the one story of Jesus Christ. Danna Rother |
