PRIME TIMERS NEWS!
July Meeting:
• 1st Samuel was the Bible book of the month.
• Verses were recited.
• The topics of the Bible Study were ‘Eight things to pray for”.
Delie Reid was the special person we got to know. She and husband Mike spent most of their
married life in Houston where they both were born (same day, different year). Delie has varied
interests – from education to working in retail and business owner. Prime Timers are thankful
to know her and to have her (and Mike) as part of the group.
• Several items were presented for “Show and Tell” that were old and meaningful.
• Everyone won at least one prize in Domino Bingo.
• Leland played the piano for the singing of old songs
• Lunch was McDonald’s hamburgers, plus member contribution to the meal.
Next meeting is August 17, 2010, 9:30a.m.
